CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Tai-Chi Chuan Meditation
Students will learn the classical Yang Family Tai-Chi Chuan system. Tai-Chi consists of a series of slow, soft movements and postures centered on the theory of Yin-Yang. Practicing Tai-Chi Chuan reduces stress and anxiety and is a great form of exercise.
Small Circle Solo Form - Seniors Ages 58+ Class
“Small Circle Solo Form” is very easy to learn and practice. This Tai-Chi form focuses on the core of the body through high stances and compact movements. By emphasizing training the vertebral column or the central nerve system, it aids in greater qi circulation to improve and maintain health. The class includes relaxation and stress management meditation.
Qigong Relaxation Class
Practice Qigong, Dao Yin Tai-Chi Kung and meditation training to improve and support your health. Students will learn the basic training in Qigong, acupressure, relaxation and stress management meditation. *Dress in loose relaxed clothing or sweats. Bring a yoga mat or something to sit on the floor.
Tai-Chi Kung Conditioning Class
Learn the essential training in Qigong known as Tai-Chi Kung. Students will learn the essentials of Tai-Chi Chuan. Tai-Chi Kung consists of a series of dynamic soft movements and postures centered on the theory of Yin-Yang; Practicing Tai-Chi Kung improves cardiovascular health, endurance and vitality.
Kids, Juniors & Teens
Tai-Chi for Kids Class (Ages 9 – 12)
In this class students will learn balance, body awareness, and control by practicing the fun and dynamic movements of the 13 Animal Frolic Tai-Chi Postures.
Juniors & Teens Class (Ages 13 -16)
Develop personal, power, agility and endurance through non-violent shadow boxing. Students will learn traditional Yang Family Tai-Chi consisting on soft slow movements and postures centered on the theory of Yin Yang. This ancient Chinese martial arts discipline improves focus, flexibility, stamina, postures and balance.

Instructor Nicanor Snow has practiced Tai-Chi Chuan for more than 20 years. He has been a member of the Gin Soon Tai-Chi Chuan Federation in Boston since 1984.
